The Connector went screwy? Did it break?
Also, are you talking about the Female end on the Board or the Male end on the Eyes?

the female end
How do you know it "went screwy"? Pics?
Assuming it was a factory defect, then, yes, it's covered under warranty. But if you jammed a screwdriver into it, that's definitely not covered.

this will happen if you remove the grip frame and adjust the aft travel screw.this is the one that keeps the trigger from pushing the leaf spring too far, thus allowing it to constantly push against the zif socket for the eye ribbon.this will eventualy loosen the socket on the board and create the issue you have.dont adjust the trigger so the travel goes that far.

could this have anything to do with the slow eye poblems?

..another excellent response from an MT...
seeing as many immediately adjust something when they get a new marker, the trigger is one of the top ones.
Here's a suggestion for those folks:
First, back off the trigger screw so the marker doesnt fire when you pull the trigger.
Second, adjust the trigger travel fore and aft to what you like..don't worry if it fires or not, just get the travel distance to where you like it.
Third, while holding trigger back, slowly adjust the trigger activation screw to the point where it 'fires' the marker. Add just a tad more for reliability sake.
Fourth, release trigger, pull again...if it fires, you're good to go. If it didn't fire, you need to ease up the front trigger wheel a click or two at a time until the 'pull-release-pull' sequence works reliably.

Rix,
Have you been teching for a while? You seem to have a lot of good answers. Perhaps you've been around, but under a different name?
