Has anyone installed this and used it yet? I just ordered one and im super curious to find out how the performance is. The advertised rof is 35bps. So will i finally be able to reach 31bps with the Fly?

Also i was wondering what Dwell setting you would suggest with a 70ci 4500 LP crossfire stubby tank. Atm im using a setting of 12 and i havent tested anything lower. I read your basic setup thread for fly and i know you dont reccomend going lower than 8. I shoot good quality paint at all times. So would going lower than 12 be benefical for me?

dunno how fast it feeds, but Ken Crane had a thread on that... Egg2 was around 13bps, halo b around 18bps and with victory board slightly faster... but i dunno...

I have an Victory halo and it works great, very fast.
Also as you said you would finally get up to 31 bps, trust me you wont. The rof counter is very in accurate. Trust me the fastest you can shoot is bout like 15 bps. Lasoya has the record for 20 bps as the highest bos achieved. Oh yea and this is with out bounce. The have these special rof counters at NPPL to see how fast you shoot, just a little fact.

As for the dwell, i have mine at 11 and lpr at around 48, i get a whole lot of shots off a 88/45 lp tank, it can actually last me for a whole day of paint, around i guess 2000 shots.

I use V35's....Mode 6 is Godlike.

yup, the rof counter on the marker is VERY inaccurate. just an example: i managed to get the rof counter to show 27bps and i have a Evo2. that is a little drastic, but it shows how inaccurate it is. if you manage to hit over 25bps without bounce then you have miracle fingers. you have to pull the trigger over 25 times in a second.
most high end guns bounce.. maybe not in the way it goes full auto after you have stopped pulling the trigger, but it bounces while you pull increasing your rof.

best way to find your real rof is to not have 150 balls in the hopper shoot as fast as you can and then divide the balls on the seconds it took to fire it. download a program which mesures how many clicks you can do per second with the mouse. just click the mouse like you do on the trigger. i use a program called "double trigger" or something.

Jezz ill say then

You are able to adjust ur speed on the V35 to 6 speeds. 17bps up to 35 bps. Its a incredible feeder, and makes it virtually impossible to chop a ball on a angel. I highly recommend it.

oh also, the halo is ranked at 20-24bps. Not 18.

ranked and actually performs at are 2 different things, as others have stated in this thread. the halo does not feed at a consistant 24bps, and a v-board doesn not feed at a consistant 35bps. They may burst for short periods.

Well, I just got a Halo B and more speed is always a good thing, but I wonder if I can justify the purchase. I am pretty happy slinging 18 bps with my Halo, no victory board. In a game situation I find it hard to go faster, I'd have to hold the gun in a way that would produce in-accurate shots.

I just used my v-35 yesterday for a local tourny (we took 1st :) ) It is noticably faster than the stock board. The main differance that I noticed was the consistancy. With the halos design, the motor must spool up the plate to feed the paint, and the stock board it did not seem to be able to keep up with itself. (IE.... you would get a dematic "ramping" effect). The V-35 board has NO ramping just smooth consistant feeding of the paint.

I highly recomend this mod to any one that has a halo (or reloader)

ok, if lasoya was pulling the trigger then it would be impossible to tell if the gun was bouncing but that doesn't matter because at the Denver Tourny the techs went to the new fly hit 21 bps with no bounce over the robot. it was the fastest gun put on the robot that did not bounce.

As for settings... If you get the 3.5 softwear (I Would) you should set your dwell to 9 and tr to 3 and my lpr is at 50. Hope i could help...

and the victory is alot more consistent than the stock board but my intellifeed halo is twice as fast and let me hit 31 BPS WITH PAINT... im not kidding but some of the balls were being smashed because it was going so fast so i had to turn it down but now i can hit 28 easily with no breaks. :blasting:

of course....

Ive noticed the little "ramp" thing too on the stock 1.

Now i know that Halo B loaders with z code claim 22+ bps, but can they actually do 20 sustained? Because seriously, I know i can't REALLY pull beyond that, without noticable ramping, so I am wondering if I should buy one as it is.

I mean, will it be nice to have for consistancy reasons when in most games I shoot around 18bps as my fastest?
