Why is my input so high?

I run the following setup on my A4 and have to run my input pressure from the minireg into the gun at just over 250 psi to 295 FPS.

dwell 17
Tank input 450 psi
Minireg 255 psi
speed 295 fps
Large volumizer

Since I am using the large volumizer shouldn't my input from the minireg be much lower?

you might have to turn up your LPR. But check with someone else first
