Ok, I haven't played REC ball like in 4 years, I play local tourneys and kick ass, but heres my problem. I am in JROTC currently in training to be an officer in the U.S. Army Special Forces (hell yeah, green berret baby) so uh should i get a tippman a5 put a flatline on it, get a ghillie siut and feel like a newb and prepare? or should I just wait for SF training..?

Military tactics, and paintball are two different things. I saw how huge the difference was after running through classes run by ex SWAT team members on naval station san diego.

I can see playing as a team building thing, but I wouldn't go buy new equipment for it expecting to learn military tactics with it.

If you try and use paintball tactics with real world military situations in combat, your ass is going to get waxed and catch the first bullet!!! Trust me after 2 tours in the "Big Sand Box", combat is no place for paintball tactics. And green beret, OHHHH GOD!!!!, WHY NOT MARINE RECON???? Just mess'n, but dont expect a salute from me. And believe me, dont EVEN TRY THAT SHI* IN REAL COMABT, or your ass is as good as dead, and it will cost you your men!!!
By the way here's a little knowledge question for ya to find out about, HOW MANY LINES ARE THERE IN A NATO BEACH LANDING?? Best of luck to you in REAL training!!

...hmmm, in the top right corner of your post there's some biodata, claims you're 23 years of age...
..and you're in JROTC ? For your info, JROTC is for the High School level, ROTC is for the collegiate level...
.. and as the 'devildog' above stated, PB tactics will get you killed in a combat enviroment....and probably some of your platoon/squad as well...
