I have an LCD matrix right now with eyes and a bunch of upgrades. I love the gun and it has served me well but Ive always wanted to an A4. IMO The gloss black a4s are the sexiest looking guns out there.
It seems like all i hear on these forums is the negatives of the A4. Can you guys post your Positive storeis of your a4s'? And will i be satisfied from goign form such a nice matrix to an a4?
I plan on buying the fly board and eyes , since i can get it done from 20 mins from my house here in badlands toronto. I play alot of tournaments and im looking for a gun thats easy to maintani (matrixs are not), but WILL NOT CHOP.
I have owned a angel speed before and i did not like it due to the fact it chopped so much. Im really confused whether i should keep the trix i Love so much right now, or get an a4 that i love the look of and possibly get it retroed later on?
what do you guys think?
What do you LOVE about your a4 compared to other guns? And are there any other people that went from trixs to angels? post your results

the board-its so easy to understand and use. its so advanced and capabal (sp) of doing so much.
trigger adujustments-awsome, nuff said.
shoots hella fast-nuff said.
easy to maintain and understand the gun-yea
lighter/smaller
you have just about everything you had with a trix besides eyes. but i dont think that really matters because of all the stuff you get in exchange. my friend has a trix he says he likes my angel more. test one out.
I have an A4, I absolutly love it. Wouldnt trade it in for anything. Only thing I want to do to it, is the eye upgrade, and I can wait for that for a while, because I am happy with my sensi.
I cant really say what all I like about it, there is just to much, I love how it looks, and feels, and love how it shoots. Nice, and light, easy to maintain/clean. Trigger adjusts with wheels, easy to follow manual. Great service from the MT I got mine from. I have never shot a trix, so I cant compare the two. I own a cocker though, and havnt touched it since I got my a4.
Why not just get the fly if you want the eyes though?

You will love an A4 if you get 1. I absolutely love my angel, and havent had any problems, even after 30,000 shots.
I agree with "who." It does need eyes.
The only problem with sensi is its kinda unreliable. Dont get me wrong, it works, but its just kinda unreliable compared to Angel Eyes.
Good choice on the 4.
good luck!

I love my A4
It's very very fast
It's light
Almost no kick
124,657 shots and NEVER CHOPED PAINT!
And very low maintenance
What else do you want out of a paintball gun?

I currently love my trix. The only thing i dontlove much about it is the fact that its a bit old (2002). The gun rips though.
My friend has a a4, and i like it when it does work properly. But his sensi breaks down alot! its been replaced 4 times. For me i cant handle that , since every second time i play is a tournament.
The reason i dont want a fly is A) Price B) i think they look ugly
The black polished a4 would be my fav gun look wise, do you think that with eyes it would help alot speed and chopping wise?

Fly's dont look as good as 4's agreed. Its better to fly a 4, so you get the rubber strap AND the beauty of the 4.
02 is old...id go for it. Make sure ur using a Halo. Even if sensi isnt working correctly, it wont chop with a halo. I CANT chop, but i still want a eye.

Honestly, I feel that it's worth saving yourself the trouble of getting a 4 and adding a fly board. I think you should just go for the fly.
I like my four a lot, and even though sensi isn't yet a problem for me, it's not terribly fast. I wish I had just gone fly straight up.

buying a used a4 then retro fitting it would save me a bout 200 bucks instead of buying the fly.
plus the a4 looks alot better than the fly i mo

I agree, the milling is definitely better on the four, though I would still personally have purchased a fly first hand if I had known how my four would perform with sensi.

I have both guns. I play with the angel more often. Not because I like it better but beacuse I just feal the urge to use it more often. I think if I was a back player I would be using the matrix more but the 4 feels better when I have to move around alot. Niether of them have ever chopped on me and niether have broken down and I use a vboard halo with the sensi. I think you should not only shot but play with them both and decide. I prefer to shot the matrix but like to play with the 4 more. If you like to tinker you migt want to keep the matrix though because there isn't much you can do to the angel.

yea ive had my a4 for 3 months and i would DEFINATLY reccomend halo and fly conversion...w/ that setup u have no way of chopping..lol...but the fly conversion and halo hav worked w/ me after 45,000 and it only chopped once (when my friend was using it lol)
