I'm stuck in a delimma....

OK, I have 2 choices an don't know how to make a poll on here. :doh: But any way, I want to get my 2k Ripper milled(Was gonna happen this summer but its been postponed) and then I want to get it MT'd. Now, I could get it milled for X-mas, then get it annoed out of my pocket, then get it MT'd with my cash. OR I could get it MT'd for X-mas then get it milled and annoed later. I'm stuck on which one to choose. Help a brutha out. :get:

first off why in the world would you take an already highly milled angel (ripper) and get it milled even more. I personally don't think you need to touch the ripper milling, it was one of the nicest milling jobs done to the lcd's. Save your cash get the MT eyes done and you'll never look back again.

Also think about this, you could pay a lot more than what you would for the MT eyes for milling, and about the same for anno, so you would have nothing but purely cosmetics and your gun wont shoot any better, point being get eyes and worry about the rest later.

oh ok, i just read the sentence wrong, still either way why not start with performance upgrade, something that is going to make your gun shoot 100x better.

2nd, Im not 100% sure that you can even still get the ripper milling done. I know the guy who did had stopped doing it or was very slow one of the two, Thats not something i've looked into in a long time, so you may want to do some research on that.

Yeah I've been leaning toward the MT, and yes I have done research on the milling, he's still doing it.

I always go with the performance upgrades before anything else on a marker. Anyways, I've always thought it's funny to have a gun that looks like a total Frankenstein P.O.S. that's held together with duct tape on one hand, but completely mows people down. Just a general rule of thumb for me: "Buy paint before performance and performance before aesthetics."

what i would suggest you do first is get the MT retro, then the milling can incorporate that into the design. if the MT eye covers are 6061 alluminum then they can also be annodized to match the gun, which adds even more to the coolness effect.

i'm not sure of the guy who does the ripper milling, but i know that i have a ripper program ready for the LCD, so if he doesnt have the ability to do it, i can. annodizing isnt too costly with the milling either, maybe only $300 with everything included (depending on where you go, also dependant on fades/colors/splashes)

he is saying that the peice of aluminum used as eye covers in the conversion kit, can be annodized to match the gun, if budhall was to get his gun re-annoed after he got it converted instead of before he got the gun converted than he could get the eye covers annodized to fit into the color scheme of his gun

I agree with most of you guys! Nice, I planned on having the MT done after I really thought about it, then get the milling later. That way ^^^ I can get the Eye covers anoed to match.

well crap...i was hoping that the metal portion above the eyes was alluminum. i guess it's stainless steel then.

you cant annodize SS, only paint or plate. sorry if i got any of your guy's hopes up
