I was browsing the other day & came across this web site www.qloader.com (I am in no way affiliated with them)
I was impressed with this video: http://qloader.com/movies/zak_vetter_31_bps.mov
I was just curious if any one had used it on a A4 Fly, if not I'll order one and let one of my front players test it. (only holds 100 pbs) They claim 30+ bps, have heard it will feed over 50 bps !??! :talktohan

I've seen a few guys with it and seen it in action at an xpsl event in san jose and its cool........ but its no that fast as far as putting a new pod on. The cost for extra pods is kinda high, and they take more work to fill than normal pods. And to top it off, mounting it is a pain, I hope your frontman doesn't mind scraping the anno off of his mini-reg cuz it maonts to it using a basic plumbing "hose-clamp". If you couldn't tell I'm not for it.

...a friend HAD one, and they are fast...if you have the feed hose length cut JUST RIGHT and amount of curve JUST RIGHT. If you don't have the optimal curvature, the balls get slowed down. If you have a ball break inside the pod, it is not a easy mess to clean up... reloading according to him was just as fast a normal pods with practice. Admittedly, it did create a very small target :) , but overall I think he is much happier with the HALO on his fly now.

(3man team)
We have 7 Halo B's, 2 Empire Halo B's (same as a Halo except sound activated), 3 Halo A's, many Revs-empire & x-board ect., (ohh yeah almost forgot about the egg-in the trash).
The empire B's sit in our gear bags & thats where they'll stay. I'm waiting on 6 v35 boards for our halo's.
In my opinion the halo B is the best loader I've ever used but we've had belts break, I'm currently on my 5th shell for my halo due to paintball hits, and I've lost count on batts used??
I ordered their (qloader) full kit with 8 pods today to test & see what we think about it. I do not expect it to be a fix all
but the concept does address many issues that plague current loader designs. Though it may not work for me as I empty a halo before I can get to the first bunker. 25+bps
I think it'll work great for my front players (yeah I'm mooched off of) as they normally use less than two pods (I'm lucky if I only use 6 a game, 1 day of practice & I shoot 3+ cases).
The reviews I've read have people bashing it after a few minutes of use. It took me weeks to get used to the first halo when it first came out, it got to where I just went back to my rev due to capacity then what happened?? chop, chop. Now you could not sell me a rev. So, guess I may be shooting the qloader, time will tell.

Zac, after that lil speech it sounds like you have sold yourself on the idea of it working well. It really boggles me to see pointless threads like this?
Sorta like someone posting a thread just to know how cool the new marker they have is.....
As for your three man team, you must not play many events if you still use that CLEAR halo that is posted in your signature?
(NPPL: Clear hoppers will not be allowed after July 31st Rule 12.01)
Just wondering?

I'm confused?? So you do you recommend the Qloader or not.
A thread is only as usefull as the posts it contains.

No, what I think he's trying to say is that it looks like you had already sold yourself on the product. Therefore, why start the thread asking about it if you already knew you were going to buy it and find out for yourself?

Then why the childish remarks? Why not just ask as you did?
To answer your question, I had seen one of their ad's in a magazine & looked them up on the web & was impressed with their product. I hadn't heard much about them so around lunch I ran a search on this site & did not find what I was looking so I went to this forum (if purchased the qloader would be going on an A4 Fly so I wanted to see if any fly users had any input on this product) & started a thread. Later that evening I came back to this site & had 90+ views, a few posts, yet no one that posted had hands on experience to my knowledge. So I went browsing around various other paintball site's & found that most people seemed to love the qloader. After reading many reviews & opinions I went ahead & ordered a set to try it out. Not sure I'll like it but I'm going to try it out.
Don't know why I was asked to explain why I wanted other Angel owner opinions it seems that would be obvious?? Didn't want to waste my time with one if it wasn't worth it.
If I remember correctly the propose of a forum is open discussion??

There's a very easy way to explain this. Zjones asked about a QLOADER on a fly, not a revy, egg, halo, or any other loader. If you want to talk about other loaders on the fly, there are plenty of other threads for that. Please stay on topic, discuss the Qloader, it's simple.

I believe that the qloader pods have a smoke tint on them, so they should be NPPL legal. As far as actually using it for tourneys, imo if you play front and not laying down paint, you should be fine. But to be used by Back and Mid players, it really isn't worth it. For example, if you're a backman using a NXe 5+4+2 pack, that's 11 or 13 pods, each of your pods will only hold 100 balls. You're holding 1300 rounds, I can tell you, I play back and that's not enough for me. You will not be able to reload until you use all the paint in the pod before changing it :wall: unlike if you had a halo or egg you can refill on the fly. Stick with the Halo B, then later you can get the Intellifeed drop in. Trust me, it's super fast! :blasting:
