I fired my A4 yesterday, and im baffled.

With mode1, it fired every time i pulled the trigger with no delay at all. I did not have paint in the breech.

I cleaned sensi and checked it for any paint in the sensor, and it was clean. I re-assembled it, and it still had the problem.

Then, today, it is delaying about 3/4 to 1 a second every time i pull the trigger, mode1, sensi on, no paint.

I DONT GET IT!!!

im planning on selling my cocker for the Conversion $$$. I just need to know if this is normal.

p.s. i dont chop...never do.

You sure that sensi was actually on when it would fire with no delay?

The first dozen shots or so with the A4 are at a 10-13 bps delay setting. If you calibrate it with dryfiring, however, it will let you fire at a fairly high rate; essentially, it's like turning off Sensi. No protection from chops, though!

You probably just didn't shoot it enough.

If you're dryfiring, though, always turn off Sensi. Is it that hard?

Nope, not hard. I was checking to see if sensi was working.

But still, it shouldnt be shooting if it doesnt sense a ball. I fired 30 paintball thru it, and it still dry fired after it was empty.

After firing 30 real paintballs through it, it should dry fire at a rate of:
Semi 1 or Semi 3: 1-2 bps
Semi 2 or Semi 4: 10-13 bps

If it fired 10 then it had not calibrated yet. You must have fired the first few shots without paint when you went Live with SENSI on. The gun will default to 13 bps if it fails to calibrate with paint during the first few shots.

ok you may want to open ur trigger frame up and check to see if your sensi pad is broken. I just found out mine was due to my halo b. Yes I did run a halo b and despite all of the myths it DOES break the sensi.

now the question is where can I get a new pad. ????

$20 says you rammed a straight-shot squeegie up there. That'll break a Sensi pad in a heartbeat.

A Halo cannot break the Sensi pad. I'll put $100 on that; come see me at any tournament and we'll put your hopper on top of any Sensi-based gun. I'll even provide the new sensor pad for free. You won't break it. You can't break it--not with a Halo, at any rate.

Seriously, people, what level of qualification do I need to convince you that the Halo doesn't break Sensi pads? Ask any MT. Ask Frazer. Ask J.R. himself. The Halo physically lacks the force necessary to break a Sensi pad, even at maximum spring tension on the stack.

I don't carry or use a straight shot cuz I never chop. I use a halo B (No Zboard or rip drive). My sensi rod was never sanded....from my perspective and experience the halo broke it. I listened to ppl like you and thought it would never break until now. IT seems the sensi pads are a best-seller on the sponsor sites. I wonder why?

hmmmm....you have the soft face bolt in there right?...not an aftermarket?....and you may need new ball detents to make it halo friendly....otherwise I duno why a halo would break it....sorry to hear that man =(

Im with Jouster on this one! A Halo CAN NOT BREAK A SENSI, Ill back his $100 w/ $100 of mine. I have been using a Halo and latly I have been shooting some rubber balls with my 4 and my halo and still no problems related to the Sensi.
