I am curious as to how the TR settings actually work. Do they electronically add/subract shots that the computer deems bounces? Currently my TR is set at 14, and it doesn't have any noticable bounce. If I really try I can get 24bps without paint (no Halo yet).

Reason I ask is because I was wondering if the TR settings could hamper ROF at all. For instance, would a TR setting of 1 be able to achieve 24bps? Or would the low TR setting filter out some of the shots.

I don't have access to a fill station so I can't really test it out myself.

technically, your not hitting 24 bps.

the average human... even the experience paintball player, well walk decently at 15-18 bps tops. i believe it was lasoya who hit 21 with out any bounce, his record has yet to be broken.

so when your screen reads 24, it is eithoir wrong (most likely) and i dont mean wrong as in blatently wrong, but in the sens that is read the two closest pulls, not the average speed or peak speed held for 4 shots or whatever. that, or you do infact have some enduced bounce than cannot be caught.

im not smashin the fly, truly a great, probably the best gun in my opinion. but the only way to be 100% sure you have no bounce would be to use the machine that NPPL has, it counts the number of balls fired and the number of times it presses the trigger. when there are say, 20 pulls and 20 balls fired, you have no bounce.

Well thought out response corrupt but I do have one thing to add.

I'm currently shooting a Flied Force 4 and to me the TR doesn't affect bounce (as much) after the conversion. Before my marker was Flied TR definitely controlled at what point the gun would bounce with a light trigger. After the conversion the TR seems to trigger at what point the ramping kicks in. Ramping is defined as adding extra shoots for every trigger pull. I define bounce as a trigger pull that is so short the vibration from the first shot makes the marker think there is actually another shot(s) before you pull the trigger again.

If I have my marker set to about 12 or 13 TR I have to pull about 12 or 13 bps before the ramping kicks in and the gun goes wild. Ramping on my Team's Angels (we have 4) is incrediably noticeable. Trigger bounce in my opinion is less noticeable unless you test the marker. Ramping can be easily heard when it kicks in. My software version is 3.5.

Needless to say if I'm wrong at what I'm saying someone please tell me. I liked the Force 4 better when it was a true debounce setting. If there is anything I can do please tell me. I don't have the fastest trigger fingers in the world so I kinda liked it when you could get a little bounce in there when the BPS went up. I can no longer do that because the extra shots created from the ramping is so easy to spot.

I already knew it wasn't a consistant stream of 24 bps, but I just wanted to know if there were shots added in.

What I want to know is if there is a TR setting that will NOT induce ramping while at the same time register a shot every time I pull the trigger.

^^^ I would also like to know. I had mega bounce on my fly you could flick the trigger and get it to bounce full auto with TR setting 1 but now I have fix it and I have no bounce that I can find. Even if I point the gun straight up and flick it or sweet spot it and doesn't bounce I have tested this by pulling the trigger at 1 bps to about 10 with 1 finger, then to walking it to check for bounce. Now want I want to know is will me increasing my TR introduce bounce I have not found or will it start to ramp?

upping the TR will enduce bounce, as you bring it down to reduce it, so bringin it up will produce it.

booboo, you have to find the sweespot. the TR adjustments vary fron prigger to trigger, so get a couple hundred balls,m some air, and shoot at diffrent settings to find what is best for you.
