Who here agrees with me that it should be a choice between Opto and Micro Switch, some people like opto, some people like micro switches, i personally hate optos, i like feeling the lil click and i miss it  , and also WDP you should make it a choice between Space frames and .45s(even tough i love space frames), dont you think you would make alot more money? i know alot of people that dont own angels just because of the space frames....common make options i bet you would make way more money

Micro switch's can wear out a lot quicker though - I wouldn't want one. I also think the extra resistance of the switch slows down how fast you can walk the trigger.

no it dosnt, with the opto, you have to mod it and ☼☼☼☼ to make it light, and eh just to much trouble, micros are way better imo

Komod, I'm sorry, I totally disagree. Mine is light than a light thing in lightville, way lighter than any micro marker I have owned/used.
Think about it - with a microswitch you have two physical elements that have to switch to send the signal. It is physically impossible for a microswitch to be able to operate more lightly than an optically based switch.

its personal pref, i like em alot better, how they feel, and i can adjust them way easier, optos you have to bend them and lots of stuff ot make it light, only some people get the opto leaf light

dude, i agree with the 45 frame thing though, or at least realease them as a gap, so people who want um can get um without going through cobra...

take a look at your fly box, notice the cut out where the gun sits looks like it can hold the space frame OR a 45 frame. The speed and a4 box's did not have that cut out.
i think they will be coming stock on them soon. maybe in the arsenal version.............

Just get the magnet mod! MT triggers witht the mod are THE best trigger out there. lol, I agree tho that there is NO WAY a micro could be lighter. But I understand there are still somepeople who like that little extra resistance.

5 gram micro switch..... vs an opto
i think micor will win

uh im pretty sure i remember my Speed demon came with a box inside the sterafoam (sp?) was also .45 and space frame slits, also my friend has a Was switch, WAY lighter than optos
where can i get a magno thing ive been hearing about so much, how much and how long would it take?

My A4 box (admittedly, it was a Force 4, but it came in a stock A4 box) had styrofoam to accomodate either the Space frame or the 45*.

The Opto switch can be lighter than 5 grams. The Opto switch, theoretically, requires infinitesimal return force! I dare you to find a microswitch that can say that.

wierd, the boxes of the a4 and speeds i ahd were from late september 2003, from the tech class, neither of which have the cut out..... wonder why its be cut like that for so long without the 45 fram coming back out yet.

opto switch is lighter... micro switch has to push down a button. opto switch just have to disrupt the break beam...
do the rubber band mod "wrong"... it gets so light, as light as air.

I think someone should design a trigger that has the sensor activator built in, and do away with the leaf entirely. The trigger would have to be magnetic for return, but the activation point could be set. That would be fast as lightning - wish I was an engineer...

Russ was doing that for a while. There's really not very much reason to do so, though; you can get the leaf spring down to, essentially, zero resistance, and it gives you a little wiggle room if some other part of the trigger drifts out of alignment.
That said, if you still want to remove the leaf spring entirely, talk to Russ.
