View Full Version : Angel no ASA?
I didn't know that the A4 Fly didn't come with an ASA! So what all must I buy so I can use my freakin gun? Do I need an ASA, drop foward, or what?

I would recommend getting a check it unimount. With the space frame being at 90 degrees you already have your bottle forward enough, so you don't need a drop forward.

It's up to you. But yes, you do need an ASA. So.......ASA and some type of drop of your own choosing and a hose!

If you do select a drop, do with a mini. I would not get a long drop.

Here is mine. The mini makes a smaller profile!
Will a drop fit any gun or is there a certain drop that is only made for angels or what?

To the best of knowledge, any drop will do. I (imo) prefer the Dye mini or Shocktech. A lot of the guys on here really like the CP rail too.

That is my Speed with the DYE
How big is the CP rail? Is 2 1/2 drop too big?

I am not 100% sure what that it. If you mean inches, I believe that the CP is about that size. So yes, it should fit.

But if you buy a rail then you also have to buy an ASA right?

Correct. It all comes down to preference.

you need to purchase whatever rail/drop you need to go with your ASA.
Not sure why this is such a shock to so many people. Angels are not the only markers out there that don't come with a bottom line set up.
CP makes a great Rail useable with their On/Off.
The beauty of the Check-it is that it's all one piece, the part that mounts to the marker and the on/off.
Dye makes one as does Shocktech, Eclipse, and just about everybody under the sun. Just find the one you like and go with it.
As for a Drop Forward, many users don't use them on the newer style of Angels because of how the grip frame already brings the bottomline forward.
