heres the question.. I am very close on buying the Angel Fly.. but I just realized that where i live ( panama - central america ) almost nobody knows how to fix the angels.. of maybe nobody !! so im a little scared that something will happen with the FLy and nobody will be able to fix it.. remember that theses is my first angel.. so i dont know anything about them.... do you think the Fly is worth a shot ? even thought nobody knows how to fix it ? :notsure:

Yes it is. Buy it from a Sponsor, they test it before they sell it.

angel is the most dependable pro marker you will find, timmys break 1000% more (ive seen this way too many times) shockers are living crap (i had to fix 8 in one day) Trixes need about 100 Orings a day and not to mention solenoid probelms (like shockers) Impuleses, well they are just horrible, and the \Nerve is just an upgraded version of them, i have worked on all these markers and the angel is by far the most dependable

Buy an LP Crossfire for it, grab a toolkit and read AngelFAQ (linked in my .sig). You'll be fine.

im going to have to agree.

my empire timmy has had a great deal of problems, just saturday( my team mate used it) the on/off membrane went dead after taking a shot to the frame. if thats not poor quality i dont know what is.
this is also common with the dm4's, ive talked to several people that have gone through over 10-15 membrane switches, 2-3 sets of eyes, and several micro switches. thats horrible!
and thats just electrical problems.

shockers, dont even get me started. putting 200 psi into a solenoid that is only rated for 30-100 psi which is labeled right on it! SP reply "But we put a harder spring in it"

the angel is where its at. my fly has proven super reliable thus far, my speed is nothing more than something to tinker with (which has NEVER gone down since the day i got it), trying to get the cycle pressure down in the 30's without the evolve kit :) :mex:

honestly reading this fourm is the best way to learn about angels...read what problems ppl are haveing and look at the responces from us...angels are great guns and very easy to maintain.. just read ur manuel front to back 2 times and ull be fine...shockers a crap dm4s are a little nicer crap alais just a POS in a box with timmy on the side

jouster, nice service you got there, but i have a bit of time on my hands to tinker with my speed ( taking old parts and seening just what i can do with them for the heck of it), and would rather mess with it myself then send it off :) after all, i can get a LOT of paint and air to mess with for the money. (mainly it keeps me from tinkering with my machinegun fly a4. have it set perfectly and plan on leaving it that way)

i have my speed bouncing off paint at the moment, but im trying to get the dwell at its lowest point also. im spoiled with a dwell of 7ms on my fly :)

best part is, WDP's manual is the best your gonig to find. the shocker, dm4( nice but not detailed enough), and timmy manuals dont even compare!

check it out for yourself. www.wdp.tv/manuals
