Well, the Angel Fly is my first Angel, and first $1000+ gun. After using it for 2 practice days and one local tourny (all in the same week) I can say this is definitly one of the best performing guns on the market. So far I shot around 8000 paintballs without a SINGLE break, not one. That is just amazing, everyone of those 8000 where laser beams headed for my opponents.

The feel of the Fly is there, the space frame makes all the difference. I think this gun actually helps me to play tighter to the bunker, especially since it has a very small profile. Even when I am on my knees in the lay-down I can rope streams of paint accross the field with ease, the MT trigger being super fast, withOUT bounce. Speaking of which, I didn't think my fingers where as fast as some others until I was able to dry fire my Angel at 24 bps, WOW! I need a Halo in order to shoot the paint that fast.

And to top off my great first impressions of the Fly, i won a local 3 man yesterday with it. The whole day the gun performed amazing, and cought a lot of attention I won a 47/300 HP tank with I am gonna sell so I can replace my Egg with a Halo. So, after all i couldn't be happier with my Fly.

It's nice to know you shoot the best gun at your field. ;)

It's funny how back in the day, I used to see people with Angels and drool, because in 99-00 Angels were THE ☼☼☼☼. Now, when I chrony at the field I have a little line of kids sitting there, staring and asking me how much I paid for it.

Everytime I let someone shoot my Force they always ask me how much they're going for...my standard response is "Retail is ~1600" and then smile:smiley:

As a direct result of the fact that I play and tech there, my local field has at least five more Angels than it would otherwise have. Two Speeds that I saved from the brink of death (and from the brink of being replaced by Timmies), my old Force Fly that replaced a 'Cocker, a Fly that rips up the field, and an LCD that I resurrected after it experienced some really bizarre software problems.

I get the "line of little kids" effect at the end of the day, too, but the line is starting to include more and more tournament players. I figure that's a pretty good sign, as is the fact that the lines are getting large enough that I'm no longer just burning through the last of my case(s); I'm having to ask people to bring their own paint.

And, yeah, since my store doesn't run a field and I go to Skyline (http://www.skylinepaintball.com), my agreement with the owners is that I won't sell to people who go to their field. So it's always bizarre when they ask me how much the Angel runs, because I'm not sure whether to tell them the price they can get on the Internet, the price they can get through me, or Skyline's price.

yes I routinely get many many users either interested in aquiring a new Angel, or asking me take care of their current Angel issues. My team alone now 4 starters with Fly's, and I'm quickly convincinv even some of the more hardcore anti Angel people to switch to Angels.

Admittedly the Fly has a tendency to sell itself, but it doesn't hurt that they know I can take care of them too.
