Anyone with a converted Ir3 using a halo with good results.
(i've seen the video of Furbys lcd with halo working nicely =) ) Two balldetents or one on that gun?

I'm sending my two ir3's in to be converted and would like to know how the converted Ir3s handle halos.

Does the convertion include a second balldetent. Also Do you need to change to a speed/a4 charger?

I'm also thinking about buying a cobra 45 frame. Will it work with my converted Ir3 without modification?

Furby's LCD has 2 ball detents.

I believe that there is an extra charge for the second detent as this isn't standard on the marker. However, check with the service center you plan to use for exact pricing and whether or not they can and will do the extra detent.

Ken said that he charges $45 for a second detent.

And no you dont need an a4/speed charger, the A4 Fly boards are changed to handle the 6v battery and solenoid.

I heard using a softface bolt(stock on the A4s) will help alot with the halos...

yep the softface helps big time, I slapped a halo on my speed a few weeks back and it rocked... now I just need some money for one
