if i was to do the mini reg mod so i could use high pressure, would the mini reg last long?, or would the drop in pressure put ot much stress on the mini reg, and it would kick the bucket?
<- no money to buy a low pressure tank, jobless bum

My gun shot flawless today with an HP tank and the mod (and damn fast, holy ☼☼☼☼!). From what Emmitt posted I would say the answer is no, seeing as Ken, a WDP tech, has a how-to for the mod in the Fly setup page.

what kind of tank are you running?
if its pmi they have low pressure spring kits availible.
there only $25
it lowered my output from 850psi to 480psi
way cheaper then buying a new tank

Just buy a new reg if you don't want to do the mod on it. I don't see why it would ruin the reg tho.......

the pressure drop from 850 to 200 is 650 psi. that puts alot of stress on the reg, and constant stress like that on a reg will soon enuff kill it
(as told by emmit)
i use a crossfire, i might just change the heads, but i also want a smaller tank, and id have to send it to them to change the ehads, and i got practice twice a week, and i cant be missign any practice
but i also have a hp pmi, were do u get the springs?

I saw this (http://www.actvil.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=4Nf8RRAa_ar8ClEE_NA87Rq86Po5jIsYjkQ=?Pro ductID=uzusFAY7cQ0AAAD3gXClA_2t) rebuild kit on Paintballgear. I am not sure if it is the LP spring though, it doesn't specify.
