Okay, I'm thinking my AIR needs a bit of maintenance, but I'd like to get some opinions from other AIR owners.

When firing your AIR slowly, as in one per second. How consistent is your PSI reading on the gauge?

As in, you look at it, it reads 600, you fire it, you wait for it to display the new number and it's now 601 waiting for the next shot. Not looking for shootdown numbers in rapid fire (yet).

What is the variation you see +/- what in PSI as you fire your gun?

Mine is +/- 15, so a 30 PSI range as I'm firing slowly. Is this a normal consistency?

You shooting +/- 15 fps over a crono ? Thats pretty bad. It is most likely your marker and not your AIR. Clean out the reg and make sure everything is ok with your Angel first.

well if your AIR isn't recharging fast enough you need to look into your reg, and check the o-rings etc.

you have to take into acount that you are looking at an LCD digital gauge not a anolog one..so you will see the change's slower. don't look at it all gauge's drop and recharge the lag and increse you see in your readings are normal for a digital gauge...
+/-15 you better check everything out some time's the grease in the gun and reg can cause this.. Ist it a new gun and AIR??

Doug means 15 +- PSI , not FPS. I think thats ok

the AIR has a time delay on its readings. maybe the delay may have something to do with it looking like its not reading correctly.

As someone noted I am talking PSI, pressure, not FPS. I am seeing the gauge on my A.I.R. varying by +/- 15 PSI. I'm not seeing that bad of FPS variation, but was wondering if other saw the same PSI variations or if I needed to get the A.I.R. looked at.

Basically I set my A.I.R. output to 650 psi, and it varies shot to shot from 635-665 psi on the digital read out. Was wondering if that was bad.

As a side note, I sent my gun away for some work and told them to do a tuneup/check on the A.I.R as well, so I'll let you know tomorrow if it's more consistant now PSI wise.

Well mind does that too. Its almost like the reg is saying "Go! Go! Go! Need more air now!" when firing then when you stop it like "WHOA!! Stop!" but it can't stop fast enough. I don't know. But I notice no performance drop off.

I can think what I want of what normal performance is, it is now fixed. I sent it in to have some work done along with the gun. They tuned it and performed normal maintenance. It now returns EVERY shot to the same PSI. 20 shots over the chrono, not fast, giving it time to recharge each time. It showed the EXACT same psi rating (+/- 0). I'm very happy with the consistency now.

Where did you send it to get such great results??
