Ok, well i have a angel 4 retrofly with magnetic trigger. And i chop like every 100 shots, then it screws up my barrel so i curve and my eyes so i chop even more. I was playing yesterday as a walk on and after my gun chopped one ball, it wasnt really fun after that, couldnt hit ne one.

Any Suggestions,
Oh and i use a Halo B with Victory Board.

And it wasnt my eyes because i cleaned them be4 i played, and it wasnt the paint, had good fresh paint.

Thanks!

Are you "sure" you are choping. not to insult your intel. but some times a close to the breach barrel break may seem like a chop. is there paint coming out of the front of the breach? is there paint "inside" or on the top of your bolt. Did you do an eye test three times with the paint you are useing (what paint is it?). You may also be crusing a ball in the breach with the victory board. These are all just suggestions. good luck.

I'm sure this will really make the MT all the more eager to resolve your problem....NOT...

An approach like this will instantly put the other person on the defensive... and if they find out in the course of asking what processes you went thru at receipt, prior to use, using and after using the marker (to include those you 'innocently' forgot to mention) that it was a case of OHAT (Operator Headspace And Timing)...well, lets just say you may be surprised.

My personal experience with the MT who sold me my ForceFly was that they were meticulous in testing each and every feature and function of the marker before it left their hands, to include the air tank... to do less than such would be disasterous for them as a business person.

Question, did you read the manuals/instructions before you tried playing with it? When the A4 is fly'ed, some of the settings and procedures you USED to use for the A4 no longer apply to the Fly it has now become.. did you ask for new updated manual/instruction sheet?

I have been through some nasty problems and ken Crane never went on the defensive with me so if your pissed thats fine but give the guy a chance to fix it and don't insult anyone, But I think you might need a ram adjustment? when you close the breech do you feel/hear a little click where the bolt arm is snapping into the hammer? and are the detents clean and in correctly, check and make sure the detents are not in backwards?

I apoligize, you must be used to dealing with smart parts customer service, (I know your Pain). But over here with angel MT's they are not looking to Screw you in any way. I have gone to Ken crane sense I was a noobe with all kinds of problems, some tough , others very embarassingly simple,
no matter what I ask Ken is helpful, and never negative.(I asked him once ,jokingly if he could mount a scope on my a4 he thought carefuly for a moment and replied "We can figure somthing out"his first reaction was how do I satisfy my customer. My first reaction would have been "why the hell would ever want to do somthing that stupid".If I sound like a :fanboy: Its because ive never been treated as well for any product I have purchased in my life. :cryer:

Fyi I was drunk when i made my earlier post, paint on the breach DOES NOT MEAN CHOP, paint in the feedneck means chop, paint in on the breach block means breach break

:notsure: not sure who you're apologizing for, but it is the better action to do as opposed to your earlier alcohol influenced advice.

As I said, my dealings with the MT I bought my AF-Fly from were of the highest caliber, Russ is one "customer oriented" person.... Hell, I even began to feel guilty about all the "extra's" he was throwing in or doing just because the performance was initally not 'as fast as our personal markers..' when he was doing the QA before shipping. He even re-opened the sealed package readied for mailing just to flash my board with the latest version when it came in...

I've been in this world a fairly long time, & I've seen some good service, and ALOT of BAD service, but the MT's are definitley doing more than their share to balance the GOOD side of service.... Kudo MT's, karma will reward you

You seem to be under the Impression that you have to tip toe around the master techs to get what you need. I tell ken what I'm pissed about, and he tells me what stupid thing I did (if thats the case), I don't have to do a song and dance to get my problem corrected.

I'm apologizing for your misunderstanding of the master tech Philosophy. And thank you for making fun of someone for correcting themselves, thats big of you, shows character

...ok, my last post on this thread which is going to pieces rapidly...

..Blue, I was not making fun of your apology, if I offended you, please accept my apology.

..I do not believe one needs to tip toe around the MT's, they are a service provider and you/we as a customer pay good money for those services and products.

But, I do believe it is wrong to approach any service provider with a perceived problem and 'say WTF'...it does not convey common decency and respect for an individaul. If anything, it will create a hostile enviroment.

It is worsened when the perceived problem was not a problem with the product, but the users actions (or lack of actions).

May you be blessed with a prosperous life of health and peace...

well obviously a WTF isn't going to receive the best of reactions, we're all aware of that. However as you stated these guys are superb in making sure that their customers are happy, so in that line of thought a "Hey my marker isn't working right, let's see what we can do to fix it" I'm sure you've already thought of this, but it's worth typing out sometimes.

Anyways...if you've really gone through and made sure that in fact your eyes are clean and passing the test, your Ram stroke is set properly, and you are in fact getting a chop and not a barrel/breech break then yes I would suggest it's time to take it in and have one of them take a look at it to ensure it's setup properly and hasn't changed since they sent it out.

Well, i fixed the problem, i had to replace one of the ball detents, it got all crapped up, so now its all fine, cept yesterday i went to try out my angel, and it was like shotting soo slow!, however i fixed this oiling and greasing some parts of my gun. However whenever i use the ROF counter menu i keep on getting an result from 14 to 18 MAX, could get any higher, let my friend use it he got 15 i used it got 16, i think that theres something wrong, and its not my fingers, i have relatively really fast fingers, before i can get 22+ easily, also this might be affecting the speed of my gun.

Is this becuase of my trigger setment, i have pretty short pull, with the activation point at the end with the magnetic mod done by russ. but i just can get over 18 and sometimes i cant even get over 15, when the results gave me 15 i was like What The *F-Bomb*
