Retro Scrutiny

Ive been observing the retro fit pics and from what I see the eyes appear to be placed level with the ball detents? This cant be right because the beam would be cut and the ball wouldnt be all the way inside the breech yet, but the gun says its ok to fire. The A4 fly's eyes are placed at the base of the breech so shouldnt these eyes also be drilled out down there? Doesnt seem to make sense to me :dunno: .

u might not be able to tell the eye placement from pics, but here it is, the eye IS placed near the bottom of the breech, but its "covered" by the covers...lol, come now...u wouldnt think the master techs would make such an obvious mistake while puttin ur gun under the knife ;)

Ah well I didnt think they would but for the 600 bones its going to cost me to get it done I wanted to make sure. I was thinking of that at work today actually, maybe the eye covers just go a bit higher then the eye itself, but thank man for clearing that up =D.
