Dark Angel warranty

Hey All You Dark Angel Owners out there, just want to give you all a heads up about the warranty coverage, if your planning on getting the new A4 fly conversion kit for your Dark Angel, Warped Sportz will not honor the warranty. I spoke to them earlier today 8-7-04 about it, and they claim it will void their warranty. I think that sucks cause I really want to get my Dark Rock equiped with the new Angel Eyes. Anybody hear anything different, please let me know. OK?

Talk to the mt you plan on sending it to and tell them your situation. Maybe they can work something out.

I guess this kinda kills the EyeQ from the MT's is the only one that won't void the warranty huh? I also have a dark angel but warpeds warranty means little to me now since it doesn't cover the actual parts in the gun. This is one reason I was weighing either the Predator or the EyeQ. I would be interested in hearing from a master tech as to what they will do for those of us with darks. I know some may not want to give up the warped warranty. Also is warped doing this because they have the demon ace mod and want you to buy that instead of others?

FYI on the Dark warranties...it has always been to the original owner only, and it's only on Labor, so parts are still your own responsibility for parts.

As for the comments about "retaining your warranty" remember that's the factory warranty on the marker...that means WDP's warranty.

Here's another little tidbit for you...bring your Dark or any other custom marker to an event and they tech it "No questions asked" bring one that's been modified and well...let's just hope that the laughter doesn't disturb the games on the field:rofl:

I've always have been told that the warranty covers the gun, not the owner, Warped Sportz tracks the work done on a Dark by the serial number. The thing that gets me is "AFTERMARKET PARTS, not authorized/backed by Warped Sportz or WDP may void your warranty. (items that fall under this category would be; Valves, Bolts, Hammers, Feedports, Circuits Boards, Grip Frames, Maximizers, Batteries, Sensor Eyes, Intellifeeds, Screws, Switches). they also list 1-888-235-9277 to talk about parts that your unsure about.

I think FizNid is probly right on the money, Its because Warped wants you to get their "Demon" or "waszz" boards and have them ACE your Dark. But Hey what do you expect from a company that has dropped the one gun that they based their company on for a "Timmy Fade" Huh? I really hope they start making Dark Angels again, They haven't since the Speed Demon.

They are making a new line of Dark guns including an angel among other guns so yes theyw ill have one soon. More than likely a version of the fly such as cobra has done.
