hi, i was wondering if anyone knows if HK army ( Hostile Kids) have a copyright on there HK long sleeve jerseys/shirts.

I was thinking of making 1 for myself becuase they cost like 150$ US from HK army :( :sshh:

so if anyone knows if they have a copyright that would be highly apreciated, also i looked on www.hkarmy.com and i couldn't find anything.

Just my opinion, since they're using H&K's logo (likely without permission) I'm not sure they could say a whole lot to you if you decided to make a shirt...but note that I'm not a lawyer...just an overly verbose paintball player.

heh, well the logo of HK is a little difrent the half of the H is black then the other half of the H and the K are red.

is there a website that has like all of the listed copyrights? then i could do like a search or somthing and see if its there.

i thought copyright was only a problem if you tried to make a profit off of it but if you are spending the money on making a shirt for yourself then i dont see the problem, but if you had someone else make it for you and they charged you for their service then you have a problem. i mean how many people would possibly want to copy it, and even if someone did i doubt they would be willing to go through all the money involved to enforce the copyright to make sure you didnt use it..

As far as the copyright question, you may use the logo for your personal use, but you may not distribute/profit from the logo.

the streetball jersey, which are mesh, basketball jerseys are around 85

the jerseys, which are regular longlseve tshirts, with screenprint, is around 75, but if u kno people u can get them cheap

but if u go to an xball game, that they play at, u can prolly catch oen of the ones they thro out, n get a box of stickers also

but if one person makes, one fony hk jersey, NO ONE will find out, get a plain long sleeve black shrit ($5.00) go to a shop that does screen printing, and hand them all the different logos, and were to put them, and they will, that will be around 20.00 or so dollars,

btu if u want a real one, and dont want to go to an xball event, then contact ffry, or little ian

omg, $150?? my team bought those exact shirts for $3. screen printing isnt more than $50. they are way over hyped. i was once offered to buy a shirt from them for only $70. so someone is trying to rip you off. i said hell no to the $70 offer. to me, its not worth the $70 to be a poser and have it rip after a couple days of paintball.

At this time, based on this post I would like to mention that I have at least 3 practice jersies for sale now.

That's right 3 jersies worn by me at either practice or in some cases events.

You can have a really old school JT cloth jersey, that's right it's the old school, you'll be super AGG with this old school jersey, think of how AGG you'll look while you're mowing muppets in this vintage JT jersey. It even has an old school number 8 on the back!!!!

Also available is a Paintball Junkies jersey first worn at World Cup in 02, and can be seen on WARPIG!!!!! This jersey was later worn in various practices, and is in awesome shape.

Another one available is a Chronic jersey worn for 1 tournament early in the season. This jersey can be seen being worn by some of my teammates at the MGO for 04. DynastySSS can attest to how AGG this jersey is as he saw me wear it at this tournament, and watched my pimp skills playing from a small juice box in a back corner, stalemating Addicted one of the top Amatuer teams in the country at the time.

All these jersies can be had for the low cost of $80 a piece, you pay the shipping on this. This is a huge deal in comparison to the $150 t-shirt that is being discussed previously, these are all real jersies worn by me.

To bring the thread back a little--they can copyright the logo (and, in fact, it's copyrighted by default, thanks to the new, updated Berne), but they'd have to trademark the name and text. So if you design a different logo, you're fine. If you use their logo as parody, or under "fair use" provisions, you're fine. But beyond that, no beans.

yes he is referring to the Iron Kids, and from what I understand HK stole the logo from the Iron Kids before they were even cool with each other.

OK for everybody who thinks that the jerseys cost $150 you are wrong. I just got done talking to steve and he said that the new batch of jerseys are going to cost $50. So I just thought i would put an end to some of the lies/exaurations (sp) that people are spreading on the thread.

Also if you guys are complaining that the Kidz stole the logo then why arnt you brining up tha many other teams/clubs who "stole" the logo. Such as Iron Men and i belve SoMich Army uses that logo if i am not mistaken. So stop the hating.

Actually i was refering to how he called me "Immature". And yes i do know that i can me immature at times heck i am still a kid praticly and i am not going to argue with that but i am saying me,jouster,mamba were having an intelegent discussion IMO and was about the only thread that wasnt pure flames. And Emmit has to step in and call me "Immature" becuase i have a differant opinion than him and the fellow AOG members.
