eh...not really interested. Looks like its just a showcase for the graphics engine, and a FPS with nothing new to really offer. But I'm glad its out so that other companies can get ahold on the engine and put out a good game wiht it. :pileocrap

my friend has a copy of half life 2. some beta thing or something he got somehow, its only like 10 minutes of gameplay but IT ROCKS! after hl2 comes out there will be no need to make any other engines at all. sierra/valve used all their profit from the original half life to make hl2. there is nothing to be improved ingine wise, its amazing.

There's always room for improvement. I though things couldn't get any better the first time I saw Super Mario World on Super Nintendo.
I get to play Doom 3 tomorrow when I pull in, I've just been drooling over screenshots this whole week.

maybe not the way its looks but maybe haveing something look just as good but doesn't need some 5000 dollar computer to run it Like these next sries of games coming out they actually run on slower systems but you have to turn off so many of the eye candy stuff which is a bummer. The game i cant wait for is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that one looks really good and has mixed genre which is great.

Dude i got doom 3 just when I went to wal-mart 2 days ago and they didnt have them on the shelf, they said they had em in the back and they brough out a few for me and my cuz. They said we weree 1st to get them at that wal-mart. went home and installed, and with my geforce 5900xt, these were the best graphix ive ever seen. The game is incredible, not only the graphics but the game play is just unreal. I bout ☼☼☼☼ my pants playing this game and have yet to stop. I think im on the last level because im fighting saint'n, I think, i cant beat him hes hard, but this game is so awesome you cant stop until you beat a boss and your heart is pounding 40bps, lol. ITS GREAT, and worth every penny.

BTW, cant wait! till half-life 2!!!!!!!!!
