I just dropped my minireg onto my impulse to try it out... only thing im worried about is the output its going to put out when i first gas it up. If it goes over 220, im risking blowing out the noid so... i wanna avoid that if possible. basically, what is the output the reg puts out to run my angel at 280 fps? Its a 2000 LCD, basically stock except for a soft bolt. Thanks for the help guys...

Well over 300 psi, even if you're using an external LPR.

just put your prv on teh vert adaptor on your impy. if it goes up then it will blow off. also turn the reg adjustment screw all teh way down and slowly turn it up. if you dont have a prv for some crazy reason i have one ill sell you for 2 bux paypal

No, i dont have a PRV...
Jouster, would that work? will the reg go low enough to still be able to give a consistent output at 200 / 210? And if i were to do that, i want to start with the screw all the way in or out... stupid question but, it could determine the life / death of my marker

the screw all the way in will be the lowest possible output for the minireg. I would certainly suggest screwing it all the way in before airing it up if you're really considering doing this and that worried about blowing something up.
