Heavly scratched bolt

I just got a new speed and the bolt and where the bolt slids under the feedneck and all around the sensi pad there are heavy scratches and scares forming. I clean my gun a TON and I dunno what else could cause this. Anything? Brandon

scratching is perfectly normal, don't worry about it

if you can, check your bolt against some other people's a4 or speed bolts. check that metal piece that sticks out and is caught by the hammer.

those gouges could be caused by that metal piece being 1 or 2 mm too long. oh yeah, btw, if that metal piece IS too long, then it's gonna crush your sensi pad via the sensi rod.

if not, then don't worry about it. but if you really are worried about it, get an a4 bolt (~$25) or a jam bolt (~$55).
