My 2k2 angel will not shoot over 140fps. I changed regs same thing. But when i'm dry firing it sounds like it should shoot fine but it doesn't. Would could possibly be the problem? Me and my buddy think it's the springs that are stacked in the gun that their is dirt in their. But i don't know and i really don't want to spend alot toget it fixed. Ever since i bought it has been given me problems. Thought angels were reliable? :cryer:

do you have an LPR gauge? if so check it, the LPR should read between 90 - 115 psi, and also you could need your snap ring adjusted, check and see if the pin on the bolt snags or bumps the hammer.

Misset/bad snap ring or ram, low LPR pressure, worn-out valve, low dwell.... have a tech give it a complete rebuild (usually $75 or so).

Angels are reliable; if this were a Timmy, it wouldn't be shooting at 140 fps, because it wouldn't be shooting at all.

take your LPR apart if you have a tool kit and take a shim out

That would lower the pressure even more. Since he doesn't know what it's at now, that wouldn't be the first thing to try.

On the reliability note, my buddy has an angel lcd up for sale that has been sitting on a wall at our field for 2 or 3 months now. When his low rise on his matrix broke this weekend, he charged his lcd for 30 min and then played for 6 hours. No breaks, no malfuntion, 280-285 over the chrono all day. That's reliable.

Thanks for the help! I know nothing about them, but my friend shot one for 3 years with proto parts in it so he's looking at it. It just is getting frustrating on this angel cuz ever since i bought it (3 months ago). It never has shot right. I thought it might me cuz i over oiled it, but then my buddy domingez, said that dirt could of worked it's way in through the exhasut valve and just got it dirty and working funky. But he said more than liktly how it's shooting it's the lpr. Ever since i have been playing paintballl i have never had a relaible gun thats why i got an angel, but it probly just need some cleaning. thanks guys! :worthy:
