Went to the AIR station yesterday and they had these new fill stations on the table.

Usually, they are the ones with the thing you turn out, like the knob on the dive tanks.

This time, they were these levers.... Push down to flow the air, release to stop and vent..... (Bauer units)

I didn't like the look of them at the start. But that's all they had. So I filled up anyway........

Now my LCD display alternates between HI-PSI & 4682 on the tank pressure. There is definately not 4682 psi in the tank as the stations only allow 4500 and I played the last two games without filling up (about 4 pods).

It would also seem that I'm the only one who had any problems all day (approx 200 players).

Is it possible that this could be a Flash Fill. ????????

if you truly don't have the 4600psi in the tank, then it sounds like the digital read out is just messed up, this could be an indication that the batteries are going bad. If you are however getting reg creep, or even venting from the safety vent, then yes chances are you got a flash fill and will need to rebuild the reg.

Do I really have to let all the air out to reset????

Or can I just take out the batteries and put them back in???

yes, you'll need to empty the tank and remove it from the regulator. If you don't do so your reg will not be set up properly, and you'll get bad readings constantly.

When replacing the batteries it displays a "need setup" the first time it boots...this is basically calibrating the sensors to the open air to allow a perfect 0 reading, doing this will air in the tank will really jack with your head;)
