You fry your board by one way, turning your LCD off when its on live(dont do that very bad lol) there are some other ways like umm letting it over heat(leaving it on the car on a summer day*whoops*) umm to cold would also affect it. just baby oyour gun lol

yea, my friend fried his board from leaving th charger in overnight(shorted the board out)....another way could be by letting your battery die and having it on live, happened to my friend with his LCD...basically everything that happens usually happens when its on live

Is this really true if you turn your gun off in live mode you will fry your board?
I do it all of the time and it hasnt fried yet.
Should I stop turning it off that way?]

i never had a problem switching it off while it was live or leaving it on the charger all night.....this sounds a little misinformed to me.

you cannot over charge the battery.....you could leave it charging for 5 days and it won't hurt it.
switching it off from live is a crock too.....somebody find that in the manual for me.

Overtemp/undertemp are real problems, as are bad 110VAC adaptors.

You can turn it off when in live mode. There is no reason that it would cause the board to be damaged. It is not like a computer that has bits of code left over when you shut off w/ out a proper shut down sequence. If that was the case, it would take time to go from live to safe so that it could do a shut down sequence.
Morant also stated that you can leave the charger on, and this is true. The board will actually control the chage cycle to prevent damage. The real problem is when you get a cheapo wall adapter (honestly, who wants to keep your marker in your car all night to be stolen?) that is not regulating current correctly, then you get damage from improper input power sources.
If you have water get in the grip and saturate the board, that would likely cause damage. Metal shaving somehow getting on the board could cause a short. Teflon tape particles can also damage the board if you have a ton of that floating around.
