Do the IR3 and the LCD have differnt threads? Cause when I was on the DYE website (which has been updated) it has IR3 and Angel barrels to choose from.
Angel threads are Angel threads.. all the same
Yeps, I switch my freak to my ir3 to lcd all da time.

WDP has not changed their threading since the first Angels were made. Only thing that's different from way back then is the regulator threads are now standard ASA threads instead of metric

The older DYE Ultralight Barrels WILL NOT fit the IR3. I had one and wound up sending it back to be replaced with one of the newer ones designed for the IR3. It was really wierd though because ALL the barels my son has for his LED would fit in my IR3.
Haven't had a problem with the ULTRALIGHT since though.
