I was playing just this last weekend. Every once and a while I would be ripping on my gun and a ball would break. After this happened a couple of times my bolt would jam forward. First of all why would the paint break only when I am ripping on my Speed (owners book say to turn the ROF down) (I have an evolution 2 with a Z board). Then my bolt would jam. I also looked at my bolt (softface) and there are a lot of scratches on it. I hadn't even used it before this last weekend. I didn't have any problems with this until now and I have had my Angel since December. Any ideas would be wonderful.

It sounds like your bolt is getting stuck forward because it's hanging up on some pieces of shell from the breaks. Check and make sure that your ram is properly adjusted and that your sensi is on and working.

My dwell was a 10 and I was having velocity issue of +/- 10-15 variance. So I increased it to 12 like a lot of people here suggested. Now it is around +/- 3-5. I looked for pieces of shell and didn't see any. When adjusting your Ram the manual says there should be a little resistance and if it is to far forward the breech won't open. Is the resistance suppose to be with the front or the back of the area for the bolt pin to slide into? Sensi worked just fine. The problem may have been that is was my teams practice paint. $28 a case and it is seconds cause we all were able to shoot it slow but none of use could shoot it fast. Cocker, E-99 and my Angel.

The bolt pin should be on the back part of the hammer. When the manual says resistance, you should hear a "click" when you close the breech.

You probably won't see any pieces of shell, if the bolt cleared and it started working again the pieces of shells probably blew out of the breech area.

Ok thanks. Every once and a while I took my bolt out and wiped it off and then it was fine until I broke some more balls. If my Ram is screwed in enough this would happen also? I just had the proshop re-lube my Ram maybe he didn't screw it in enough. I just re-did it after I played so maybe it will be fine now.
