And with Shocktech you never get anything extra....no warranty, no extra special parts etc...it's just a different than stock milling. POS IMO.

DMFizzle = over price piece of hype. Great guns but just a tad bit over priced and I hear quality isn't that great either.

IMO, the DM4 is hype. I think its so UGLY! I would never by one of those!

alot of people on my team have dm4s, (all of my old team did and about 3/4 of my current team do) and they are definatly over hyped. i shoot them alot and see them in use and they shoot good but they are higher matinence than an angel and ive seen em have lots of problems. the shocktech dm4s look great in person though.

i also dont like the way that the dm4 balances with a halo, it just feels a little akward.

It's all preference. I have heard many peope say they absolutly LOVE the look of a DM4. But I must say, it is a very nice gun, only I don't think it's feature list justifys it's price. I think a DM4 would sell better for ~$900

hehehe they shoot great when they work ;) but like all trixes lube them before every game, and pray you dont bust an Oring... i get no bigger laugh then when i hear that familiar hissing of air coming from a broken ring

shocktech is just like dye. you start with dye that over prices their stuff like crazy, then shocktech overprices thier stuff like crazy. so when you get a st dm4 your paying like 4x the price it should cost.

i still love the looks of the st dm4 when i saw it and shot it on the field. it was much easier to point and shoot but that messed up feel was still there.

i think the reg setup should have been moved away from the player a little more.

lol jp Dye is really over priced I don't know how any small store owners can make a profit on there merch bc the wholesales prices are rediculessly high (trust me I know). So you might be able to make a few bucks but more the less nothing. Shoctech has good stuff but freakin 32* and all that other National Paintball crap is just a rip off of shoctech stuff and when the DM5 drops( I think this december or january? correct me if I'm wrong) the DM4 prices are gonna drop so low and so fast......then I might consider buying one.....only to have a backup gun :hi:

yea, like those dye cockers that used to be 1300 now theyre 400...

the store im sponsored by gets the dye gear and then the other local (yet still not local enuf to be competition) buy the gear from them for the wholesale price so that its not such a rip off...


i was on dye kids (div3 xball, look for em at the world cup) for awhile and now im on my old team that got back together. (look for us at the commanders cup)

I'm not a big fan of the shocktech version. I love my DM4.. thing shoots ropes, but that is definitley a ugly pos.

Even my Captain made a comment not too long ago that I was the only player on the Palm Beach Vipers - Dye team not shooting a DM4. I've got nothing against them, I just love Angels. I really don't like the Shocktech DM4, and neither does the rest of the team, but the stock DM4 is a great marker, just not the one that I prefer.
