I must say that I feel exceptionally good. I was away for a bit on vacation getting SCUBA certified this past week and I missed 2 things: my son, and my MT SPEED.
I wanted to caress it, hug it, and play with it in my hands :tunes:
If anyone is bouncing this around in their head and doesn't know if they should or shouldn't do it, just look at the responses and testimonials of people who have theirs.
KEN, THANK YOU for the SPEED. Very clean, very quick, and very trick indeed. As much as I like my tune-ups you have me beat by far sir, can I request an internship? I had a lot of requests for my gun, extra parts, upgrades parts, blah, blah, blah. You came through without forgetting anything, amazing really especially when you take into account the turnaround time. You must sleep less than 2 hours a day by my calculations. I applaud you for putting up with the constant questions, calls, PM's, emails and general harrassment we put you through. Sorry :embarasse
RUSS, THANK YOU for the LCD. If this is prototype work then most companies R&D depts. would do well to emulate your attention to detail and craftsmanship. I, as well as most everybody else, appreciate your ingenuity and hard work.
All in all people, compare all the other mods out there. Make a chart if you'd like. Then look at the support and backing with WDP and the MT's invlovement.
I thought so.

I'd like to second Carlos's sentiments. If all the MT's workloads are like Kens then sleep isn't an option. I know that there have been many times that we've left the shop after midnight just to get some guns out, keep in mind that Ken closes at 8 and isn't even open on Mondays. Tuesdays are by appointment only also.
Since the Conversions have been started he's been super busy. I don't think that people realize he has another business to run besides Performance Angel. Besides the conversions, he still has to service all of the other markers that are sent in and he's Arsenals gun tech this year. Can't forget all of the orders that he fills along with Tech calls that he takes, the list goes on, I know that he's been running around like crazy. Ken has my sincere gratitude for letting me hang out at the shop and teaching me so I can help him out, and that's just the start of it.
The craftmanship has been 1st class, but I wouldn't expect anything less. No scratches, scrapes, dings, NOTHING! She looks just like she did the day I took her out of the box, with the exception of eyes.
Carlos, as far as an internship, you are going to have to kick Vantage off Ken's couch if you need a place to stay!
Here are the eyes that Ken put on my baby. Thanks Ken :bigok:
Russ, she'll be visiting you soon enough;)
Keep up the good work like I know ALL the MT's will

Is that lazy bum still there!? lol

Yeah, I see a lot 1st hand. A little more than people realize, just trying to give a perspective on things. Sometimes people don't realize that the MT's have other obligations in life such as family and other jobs. However they are the best at what they do and try to keep us all happy.

I was shocked to find out that Ken owns capecod paintball, anybody in the north east knows its one of if the not the largest fields in the area, and hosts some of the NEPL (north eastern paintball league) events every year. How he is able to manage both capecod paintball and performanceangel is beyond me

You're talking about the marker here w/ the caressing, huging, play w/ it in your hands stuff, right? Just checking.

and that's not even what Thog is reffering to. Ken much like most of our Techs has a real Mon-Fri job outside of the paintball industry. He is certainly a busy man.

Paintball doesn't really pay the bills, profit margins are waaaay to small to survive.
drkanglr, yes it's the SPEED I'm talking about. lol
I left it open to bait others with insider info to my perverted sense of humor. ;)

Ken's full time job is running an appliance repair center, that's why Hep is always on spin cycle
He took over the Maytag Man's job after he retired.

Im surprised Ken and other MTs arent grumpy with all the phone, email, PMs, and Little Sleep they get.
This is truly great service the MTs offer
