it's probably just the same as some of the multi vitamins that are on the market that are geared towards women. It just has a few more vitamins that they need, it won't hurt you at all. There was actually a time when I was taking a vitamin and I asked the doctor about it he said it just had more iron in it, and since that's something I needed at the time he actually said it was good for me.
