Can't move the trigger pin to the other pivot holes

I tryed moving the trigger pin to the middle pivot hole and it will not go in. I could get it in most of the way using a pin punch and a vice, but not all the way. Needless to say I tapped it back out and put it back in the back hole. I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem?

Mine just slides in....

hmm, prehaps I should just order a new pin and give that a try
