Help!!!

one of the little wires on my wiring harness (on my 2k lcd) has been smushed..i think my friend did it acidentally. anyways when u turn it on, it looks like its turning on, then only the backlight is on..its weird. its a red wire. . i think its the battery line...i dunno ill try to figure out which one it is. my question is it possible to cut the line out where its smuched and twist the end together? will this work?

the screen wouldnt even turn on if its the battery, it is probably the solonoid line... either case some solder and electrical tape would solve it if the wire is broken.

if its just a little crushed it was probably because the trigger frame was screwed in with a wire caught, it really wont affect much, unless the wire is exposed which could short out the battery. see where teh line comes from on the board

so ur saying that i can cut the line and melt them back together? then wrap electrical tap on it? i dunno how to solder or sodder or whatever..how do u do it?

u need a soldering iron and solder. if u dont know how to do it.... id get someone who knows how.....o btw solder is a low melting temperature metal used for electrical and plumping purposes....

If just the backlight comes on thats usually a sign of a bad board.

did you try maybe charging the gun?
