I can't speak to wether or not the breech will clear the feedtube once it is installed.

I have seen countless clamping feeds like that with plier marks when their owners couldn't un-clamp them (mostly on cockers and timmys).

For $35 you could get a CheckIt Clamping feed which I can tell you will fit the threads AND allow you to open the breech.
