never used one on an angel but ive used em on timmy and trix and seen em on angels. they seem to be made very good but they were very loud, and since the porting is made outward it is even louder to your opponents. they work good though. i would reccomend something different however, perhaps the phat kit orif ur rich you can get a good ultralite set.

the best think probably would just be to get a .690 bore barrel since that will fit almost anything.

If your looking for something that works well but is also inexpensive give custom products a try. Each front/back is about $30 and you can build a nice set for a little more than half the price of the pipe (3 backs one front = 120 and you usually never need more than three different sized backs).

I have a 12.5" ,titatanium, low pressure porting longbow barrel. I love it its so accurate and its the smoothest barrel on the market.

I use a pipe set occassionally and I love it (I use it on my Fly though not LCD). The rear aligns tightly to the front with no offset. The reverse porting cleans exceptionally well (as experienced with poor paint). I really like the case it comes in plus the price right now is very good at a lot of e-comm sites.

I love my Pipe kit. But, yeah, it's kinda like bringing a cannon on the field, insofar as noise is concerned. Then again, a Barrett .50 cal ain't quiet, either, but nobody's dropping them in favor of Dragunovs. Each has its use: the Pipe is the sniper who doesn't care if his position's known so long as his paint's flying straight and true, and other barrels are the silenced USP's.

Metaphors aside, though, quite frankly, the first time I saw how quickly the Pipe cleaned itself, I fell in love.

a barret can shoot much farther and much more accurate and deliver a more dealdly blow than a silenced usp can... adding a pipe to a paintball gun wont make the ball go farther, faster, or anything over anything else.

a pipe can be compared to a mag. mag people always say they take performance over looks, but every one knows mags dont preform that much better, if any. evil pipe people always say they take performance over sound, but pipes dont shoot much better than any other barrel out there.

Sounds really promising... it seems like i will buy the pipe...:-) noise aint that bad on a field.. everyone it shooting so alittle noisier shouldnt be apromlem...

ive used one on an imp, wawsnt bad. it was loud. the paint never really cleared itself but its better than almost all other barrels(only barrel better i think is sw!tch/st!ffi)

I shoot a pipe on my a4 fly. It is loud as hell but the groupings appear to be tighter. If the paint is close to .689 I sometimes shoot the stock barrel, It shoots pretty darn good. The freak kit is probably good but I don't like smart parts products.

its just like the stock angel barrel in black! the sizes it comes in are frekishly rediculous. its the last barrel kit i would get.

i was thinking about the pipe too" it looks nice, the style of starting out fat then tappering skinny is sweet. i have no problems with breaking paint so the porting is not an issue, but being loud is because i play stealthy. it also seems expensive. i dont like smartparts. so next is the hammerhead which is getting my attention now but have not seen any out their playing yet. please reply!!!

what about the length? i use 12in. but was thinking 14 is their much of a diff?

12 inch will be a bit more accurate than a 14 in but 14 is more widely used because its easier to push airball bunkers around with. i use a 16 because of that reason.

anyone know what kinda front end threading the pipe has? (can i put like a jt front on the pipes back) (if i could that would be the SHIZNIT) (did i spell that right?)

well, i think 16 is too much right now. i'll try 14 first.

16 = perfect length. i cant wait til my 16" stiff comes in..

Go back to IRC, hippy.
haha

And I agree with their stand on using 14 inchers first... I'm just wondering if we're talking about the same thing.
