I got a question about tank pressure time..

Which is written first on air tanks?
the year or month?

It's month then year. So in your example the bottle was manufactured in March of 01, and needs to be rehydro'd before Feb 29, 2004 if it's a 3 year bottle and Feb 28, 2006 if it's a 5 year bottle.

hmm are ya really sure? on a other tank i got not an air its reverse... and they guy who sold me the air said it was tested 2003...

can it be different from countries or so?

the factory label should say for example, 7 (triangle symbol) 03
that means it needs to be hydro tested in july 2008

if it was hydro tested in 2003, then it should hae a second sticker (usually a piece of foil that has been glued to the tank) but if it was rehydro'd in 2003, then its good until 2008. Carbon fiber Tanks manufactured/hydrotested after july 2001 are good for five years

No, it's an undustry standard on all bottles. All compressed air cylinders are labeled exactly the same. This is done so that anyone in the world can understand what is being indicated on the bottles, whether it's a gas bottle for welding, a SCUBA tank for diving, or a compressed gas bottle for Paintball. I posted some links to the Carleton website with lots of information, and I believe they're stickied read them they will help you out.

Looks like 03 / 01 but I can't see the pic that well. If it is 03 / 01 It would be March of 2001, and acording to dark2k2lcd since is before July 2001 it needs to be hydro tested soon (already past the three year limit that was standard in 2000).

hmm the guy i bought it from claims that he bought it new and in 2003...
i havent seen any reciept but i belive him...

if its an standard over world why come my other tank with pureenergy system it says 2002/04 and its a 5 year tank... yes it says 2002...and u say its reverse? then its not standard... think even my old tank before was same as my pure...


And i talked to the seller and hes trying to find the receipt..
