Since most of the threads i see here in Speed section are problems with their Speed, I figured posting a report of my experience with my JROCK Edition Speed.

I played yesterday on a three man practice. The Speed managed to impress me again which made me happy.

The night before, i set up the Speed: LPR 65 psi, dwell was set on 14, Dynaflow set on 500 psi and the mini reg was set on whatever got me shooting under 280 fps. I fully charged the AA rechargeables for my Reloader B (i highly recomend both) and of course fully charged my Speed. I also checked my detents, made sure that there was a slight resistance when i close/open the breach.

The next day, off we went to the field. Got my gear and myself ready. Bought a case of RPS Flash, put everything together then headed to the chrono station.

Couple of shots from the chrono was way over 300fps due to the new settings I did to the gun. I then adjusted the mini reg to shoot around 270-280fps. At first the chrono readings were fluctuating around 10fps, then I ripped it a bit the it was down to +/- 3fps the most 5. (I’m using .88 bored UL) I was happy so I left the chrono to get ready to play.

The whole day I was using the gun with the sensi on (mode 2) and never had a problem and never felt any lag. The gun totally ripped. Sometimes I would calibrate it before the game starts and sometimes I just start ripping on the break. Well, not a single chop or ballbreak the whole day. I was worried though since it was very humid that day that the paintballs were getting softer, though it was very humid I experienced no headaches at all.
The only bad thing that happened yesterday is when the Speed just shut off right while I was getting ready. I found out that the night before I didn’t plug the battery wires tight on the board! Haha other that that everything was swell and butta smooth.

Most of the guys on my team are now shooting the new timmies which I think are fast, great, and light guns and also expensive :dil: ! Hehe I would not mind having one but out of all of us, it is my gun that has not gone down or chopped a ball (knock on wood). Maybe I’ll buy one later… or maybe I’ll buy a FLY! Hahahaha if I my Speed performs perfect for me then I can only imagine how a FLY would be.

p.s. charge your batteries it works better than Advil on headaches.
