I have used 3 Max Flo tanks/regs on my angel speed but have not been successful in bringing the fps over 250 with any of them, i am using the hp spring and the screw in the mini reg is almost screwwed out. Dwell is on 15 i believe. If you know anything that would help it would be great!
Thanks!

screw should be screwed in not out to decrease velocity.
if that dont do it, try mini reg mod, alot of angels arent HP friendly.

have u tried doing the mini-reg mod?

with input pressure around 850, 67 lpr, and 15 dwell, with the mini reg screw almost all the way out, your speed should be shooting over 400fps.

have you used any teflon tape on your marker??

have you cleaned the mini reg?

the dwell is set to the second orange led?

I have not cleaned the mini reg and yes the dwell is 2nd orange and no to teflon tape... its weird its like this with all maxys

Remove the piston, ball bearing, and the spring stack. It is simple to re-assemble.

errmm.. you gut your mini reg and you turn your mini-reg into a gas through...
800 psi straight into gun. i wouldn't do it... unless you like paying $200 for a new solenoid.

on that note... check and service your mini-reg. you probably have the springs wrong.

here is an easy thing to do... see if your local pro shop has a pressure gauge setup for your mini-reg. since the threads are standard... it should be no problem finding that setup.

1) turn off your maxflow.
2) empty the air out of your gun.
3) unscrew the mini-reg
4) hook the output of the mini-reg to the pressure gauge
5) turn on the maxflow
6) see what pressure it says

i think you want between 200 and 350psi coming out of the mini-reg. i was running 160psi at one time. 180ish now.
