well i had been using a revy x-board on my speed so obviously i was outshooting it but the sensi didnt allow any chops :niener:

but anyways i got a z-boarded Eggy now and it seems that it isnt any faster then the revvy?
with the eggy i can shoot in little bursts pretty fast but then i feel the sensi kicking in and not letting me shoot.. its almost as if i were outshooting the eggy? but i know im not because im not shooting fast enough?

i drop tested the eggy so i know its dam fast
and im on sensi mode 2

anyone know whats going on?
thanks

Check the sensi pad. Do a drop test w/ 10 or so balls and make sure they all pass. Also, pull the frame off the gun and look to see if the yellow strip in the middle of the pad is cracked. If the sensi test doesn't pass, you need to get a new sensor. However, sometimes, it'll pass the sensi test but the strip will be cracked and that will slow the ROF down.

sounds like you might not be calibrating the sensi when you first turn it on. In which case the gun gets capped at 13 or 11? Can't remember but Ken did a whole thread on calibrating so check that out.

i just shot it again... its as if the sensor isnt sensing a ball even when its there so thats why it pauses...

but i did the sensi test and its working
i feel like im outshooting the eggy when i know im not
its wierd

anyone else? thanks

If you didn't, actually look at the strip in the sensor. Sometimes they can crack, and only work sometimes. If it is cracked it can still pass the SENSI test.

this sounds like the "pause issue"
which was a trigger adjustment issue. try adjusting your toe screw (out i think) see if that helps.

what is the pause issue can you explain please?
what would adjusting the trigger do?
im kind of new to speed...well i did it anyways thought i turned the toe screw to the left (thats how to back it out right?)

anyways what is the point of this lol?

thanks

:dunno:

more info available just search for "pause issue"
basically as i understand it, if you adjust your toe too far back the trigger wont return fast enough. so you may pull the trigger twice, or more but the board only sees one pull. etc...
