I have two angels right now one is an LCD and one is a Speed. I lost the LCD charger but I have the Speed charger. What would happen if I charged my LCD with my speed charger? Would it be ok only a couple of times?? And if anyone has a used charger for sale please let me know, thank people.

Don't think it would work, the speed batteries are a different voltage, and a different type of battery.

I believe the speed battery is higher voltage. This means the speed charger may overcharge and ruin your batteries trying to charge them up to the higher voltage.

winter001 if you are correct that they are a different type of battery. Say LCD batteries are Ni-Cd and speed batteries are Ni-Mh. Then you will most definately run in to problems. From RC Car experience, the different types actually use different charging methods. I believe its called a linear charge for Ni-Cd and Delta-V detection on Ni-Mh.

I'm not sure what the differences are but my speed died on the field two weeks ago and I charged my speed for about 15 minutes with a LCD charger, since I didn't have the speed charger with me. Don't know about vice versa.

Yep Speed batteries are Ni-mh, but they are a lower voltage than the LCD batteries. LCDs are 6 volt and Speeds are 4.8 volt

As long as both batteries are Ni-mh, the speed charger will work on the LCD. If you look on the charger it says "Only to be used with the ANGEL metal hybride battery pack 4.8V and 6.0V" In other words it'll work on both 'cuz the LCD is 6.0 V. I use a speed charger on my IR3 instead of the LCD charger it came with and it works fine.
