Microswitch Question

I heard on an lcd you can take it apart and bend the little plate in there a certain way. Wondering if anyone has done this before or knows how?

it's not pointless, but VERY VERY VERY VERY risky.....you would be better off purchasing a lighter switch, removing the original solder, and soldering on the new microswitch....but even that isnt for even the slightest faint of heart.

yea i took a broken microswitch apart a couple months ago,

and it looks like a BIG pain to put back together, good thing i didnt have to
