How are you guys protecting the plastic lense on the regulator from paintball hits which usually results in the paint going inside the regulator and making a mess. I taped the reg on my Wife's new IR3 AIR with clear tape to protect it, but it is also messy to take off. Have any of you found a clear plastic bottle or something else to slip over the regulator.........Chuck

I have never had a ball hit there so I don't know. But I bet if you get some velcro, cloth material or any kind you want, thin flexible plastic. If you can stitch or know someone that does. Make a sock or cover (like air tanks) for it with a little window (thats what the thin flexible plastic is for). Just an idea.

I've been hit in the reg but only a little but of paint went under the clear plastic. I usually just take it off at the end of the day and clean it out with Q-tips and canned compressed air (like the ones used to clean computer keyboards).
I thought of using black electrical tape over the edges of the cover just to keep paint out. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like a simple and cheap fix. Plus, the black electrical tape should come off pretty easy without any residue on the regulator.
