I'm just wondering out of the Angel users, how many of you all rock the drop. Personally, i do not use a dropforward because IMO the only thing it does is put your gun too close to your face and gives your less accurate shots suffering from the kick.

I use a long shochtech drop on my 68ci Angel Air. I think it's nice that way:)

I use a kapp drop zone 3 cradle for my 68 4500 nitro duck as you can see in my sig but i was thinkin of going to no drop because of the things i heard that it reduces the kick. Is that true?

yes because without a drop, you have more tank at the back. It acts like a stock so you have more stable gun and more accurate shot to shot.

tru dat, they can help you with a smaller profile but only to a certain extant. What i ment was like really long drops and cradles such as a Shocktech (long) or a DZ. Those are basicly putting the tank under you gun. It has so little tank at the back, it's forcing you to bend your neck back (and look like a retard) while you aim because your marker is so close to your face mask. Oh and Psycho Ballistics drops. Those are INSANE.

does it reduce the kick by alot?

well, ive held jasons setup and i really like the air minidrop, its about the only drop i will use

as for me, i have a conquest and a maxflo, both with the stock rail, and i love em

ya lay the gun cross body and its like butta'

ishootp8ntatu: Angels never really had too much kick to begin with. I run an 88ci without a drop. Many people at my field say my gun does not arch like most Angels do. And i barely notice the barrel move at all when i shoot. Of course some people would prefer the gun kick alot so they can bounce the trigger but whatever.

No drop,...I had it on before, but watching myself on video I held the marker to high with it on. I haven't played with the 88 yet, so it feels a little weird compared to my 45. I've been running around the house with it driving my wife mad!!!

I use a cp flame drop. It keeps me tight behind the bunkers.

im rokin 68 quest w/ shocktech mini drop (also known as the shocktech rail) it really hardly moves the tank anywhere, maybe 1/2" diff if i had a preset tank mounted straight to the grip..

I use a KAPP Drop Zone 2 on my 88 4500 Hyperflow. I think it sets the tank perfectley for me and never have any problems with accuracy and stuff.

I Play aggrofront.
So i use a 68 with a CP lightning drop. You all seem to be hung up on the whole "kick" issue.
Might be a little more noticable, but it ways up by the total tightness it brings. I´m invisible, and invinceble, behind the bunkers! ;)

Dropped and foward, not a lot though. Custom designed and built (by me). Kick? The LCD has recoil, but not the IR3...anyone have an opinion on that one?

the only way i think you can justify using a drop on a 68 tank if its a screw in. And even then no bigger than a shocktech mini. but on the AIRs and maxflows and geddons etc, theres no reason to have a drop, the angel trigger frame is pretty far up to begin with...

I use a DZ 3 because it mounts my AIR in the perfect place too where my gun is about an inch from my lense I play up front in the small small bunkers and I have to be real tight

I never used a drop on my 88 AIR.. just dont need it and its more comfy and provides a lower profile

i can justify using a drop because i think it is comfortable like that...i dont think there needs to be a justification for a drop forward in any case...its what u want

A drop does not make you tighter. If anything it makes your elbow/wrist stick out a tad more.. Don't believe me?? - go look in a mirror.
Plus since the gun is right up in your face- the gun blocks more of your sight. Lets not forget a drop puts you in the swan neck position and hurts your wrist and you look like a noob to boot.

Drops are the work of the devil. Don't use them...
