I cant get the gun to charge NEED help

OK i got my gun off ebay and when i went and i tried to charge it i have the right battery and stuff i take out the yellow tab and hook it up to the car so the light comes on and the light on the LCD screen comes on for about 2 seconds then shuts off. Is the battery just dead and it needs to sit or is it something else any help would be awsome.

yes i followed the steps but when i take out the yellow tab key and insert the charger into the gun the screen just shuts off, is it just because the battery is completely dead?

Does the backlight just go out, or the whole readout?

The backlight and the readout, all i can see is the battery bar but it doesn't cascade, is this because the battery is really dead?

hey hav u tried opening yur charger cuz the connection cable comes loose sometimes
andi would kno this cuz it happened to me about 2 weeks ago

should try revving the car, i did that and everything seems to be working fine now :P
