I dont know the differance in spotting a low pressure tank and a high pressure tank.
I just bought a used speed but I don't have a tank. I see a lot on ebay but don't know what to buy.
Can anyone help.
I just sold a 68/4500 with my other marker but at that time, I did not even know about high or low pressure tanks. I just bought it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lloyd

Lloyd, you want to buy an lp tank, or an adjustable if you like. In the future, you can go ahead and use the search option, and post in the right section

Get a Crossfire with a BLUE band and you should be good to go. If you order from our sponsors they should take care of you.

Ever heard of a 3A tank? A lot of them are on Ebay for about $85-$150. They don't say if they are hp or lp though.

or get an angel air? why not? Nitroduck makes a nice tank, aci bulldog, macdev...there are plenty of options!

I had a crossfire never failed me and they are realitivly cheap. Not to disagree with madspeed but most angle air is a tad be on the expensive side, but if u have the money to burn and u want the best of the best I would highly recommend that u go with the angel air. Used Angel Air in fact runs almost the same price if not a little hight than a new fix output tank.

Thanks for all the information. It was a great help. This will sound scary but here it goes,
I talked with the owner/operator of our local field about purchasing a crossfire with a blue band. I explained the blue band is lp and the red band he carries is hp. He was shocked. He has been in the business for 15 years and also runs a welding shop out of the same location. He never heard of lp and hp tanks. After he made one call to the crossfire company, it was confirmed the do have lp and hp tanks.
For his ignorance, he ordered me a 68-71/4500 new stubby tank for his cost of $101.
Sounds great. Thanks again for all the help.
