Hi,
My COPS worked and I took the gun apart to clean it and I put a bit of dow grease under the sensor and put the gun together and now it does pass the drop test at all. It looks like the rectangular black plastic piece that the rod goes into is not fitting properly. When it is inserted it is not flush with the body. It is about 1mm sticking out. I dont know how to get it working again. I followed the pictures in the manual. Help please!
Thanks.

Hi,
Yes I am talking about that black plastic piece that is a little under the VAA. It does not sit flush with the gun. It is not like sticking way out but it is sticking out about 1 mm or 1/5 mm . I dont know if that is the problem. Is there a certain type of grease to use? Maybe I have too much on. I just put a thin layer. I am going to try and diagnose the problem myself but if you have any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks,
Al

sounds like what you're saying is that the COPS sensor doesn't sit inside the tray very well. Take it back out make sure you don't have some sort of debris in the way, make sure the wires are going to the track correctly, and most importanly make sure it's not upside down. It should slide into place with minimal effort, I know it did when I put it in the Cobra grip, so I would assume it should fit the same in the stock grip.

Same thing happened to me the first time I took the gun apart and cleaned it. I wound up having to send it back to have the sensor replaced. I know that's not what you want to hear though. Is the actuating rod reaching into the Breech?
