I'm wondering what rof people get with the
egg2 y-board. I'm getting only 12-13 with fresh batteries, but without balls and with eyes off i'm getting like 23-24 bps consistently.
I know that marker adjusts rof depending on the hopper speed, but i just cant believe evo2 feeds only 13 bps... Can anyone give me any ideas?

That's about right. I consistently get about 17bps with my EvoII (z-board) and the infrequent 19bps. In my experience you're not going to get above 15bps with y-board and not much above 17bps with the z-board.

Check your setup, my Fly with Egg II w/z-board I always got the ROF at 25. I've done the test couple times with balls and eyes on and ROF always at 25 BPS.

25bps?
No way... maybe your LCD is reading 25bps but there is no way that your z-board EvoII is feeding that fast. I've run drop tests and even used the marker on uncapped F/A and the fastest we could get the z-board to push was about 19.7bps.
So unless you could provide us with a video showing 25bps coming out of your marker with that loader ontop then I'm going to have to call you a "liar."

Right now, I don't have extra money to buy a camcorder to make a video. Before I installed the z-board all I got it about 10~14 BPS after installed z-board and my LCD display 25 BPS. I did reset my gun couple times and re-test I still got the same 25.
1) If you said your test is 19.7 then my LCD must be inaccurated or your test inaccurated.
2) If my LCD gave me the wrong info so you need to call WDP a "LIAR" not me because the info I got from their product.
3) Over here in this forum, we just giving out the ideals, knowleges and your experiences so be nice don't just call people a "Liar" or "stupid" because they have different ideal then your.
4) I came to this forum to see something new so I could learn to expand my experience, I don't want to fight with anyone. If you want I can take a challege with you on the field (one on one) then we will see who is a TOP GUN and you will see how my hoper working.
I HATE PEOPLE CALL ME LIAR.

A good friend of mine use to work for JT and frequently would attend national events and sit with Mr. Greenman at the VL technical support booth. I had a y-board before they were available to the public, I had a z-board before they were available to the public and I've had other 'aftermarket' codes in my EvoII all in between. I've watched them test the loaders on Intimidators, Angels, Matrices, Shockers, Impulses, Spyders and more.
At no point did the commercial z-board ever break 20bps in a steady feed. Infrequently they could get the loader to 'burst' two consecutive balls at approximately 23bps (which is how they get away at advertising it). Thus this is where the 25bps could come into play.
Perhaps I was too rash in calling you a "liar," as you apparently can't handle criticism well. If you've noticed in the A4 forum (apparently not) you will have discovered that the LCD display for the ROF is a measurement of the two fastest pulls in consecutive order. It is not an accurate representation of a consistent stream or what your fingers are actually pulling.
Over here we traditionally provide 'evidence' to bold or seemingly unfound claims. Unlike the Catholic faith, not everyone at AOG believes without seeing. So while I do not see the need to walk onto the field with you to resolve an argument over the R&D of a product I appreciate your offer and wish you all the best with your 25bps EvoII. Oh by the way... I have a HALO that feeds 40bps! :)

If you super pre-load the spring with the rip a ☼☼☼☼load I'm sure you could hit 40. Eggs should be used as backups, IMO.

Agreed....the only place for and egg is on ebay. Do yourself a favor and get a halo and victory 35 board....holy crap is it fast.

Halo w/ victory board gets 2 thumbs up from me.. it is a must have for the fly.
Why don't you all go and get a true bps.
Fill up your egg (count the balls) fill up your halo (count the balls) time how long it takes you to empty it, and divide the total (number of balls in your loader) by the time it took to shoot it.
That will give you a true bps.
Here is something to think about....if you take 10 seconds to shoot your hopper at 25bps, then you had 250 balls in that hopper.....thats a big hopper. And trust me, both of you will take longer than 10 seconds.

PB2X just did a "test" in their july issue which i'm sure everyone has seen but here's their results:
evoII/Z= 21.07BPS
evoII/Y= 18.21BPS
haloB= 25.29BPS
This is an average of 5 try's per loader

You do realize that the test means absolutely nothing if it is not on a gun. And it was the actuall balls shot divided by the time it took. (Sorry I haven't seen the article yet, but I will make a note of it to go and check it out, so correct me if necessary)

I was only offering some more info on the subject...............the results and the test seem to make sense to me.........it was a drop test because the marker (moded impulse :moon: ) couldnt keep up.........there were also some other loaders used............i use a HALO so the test meant jack to me anyway :bounce:

21.07bps with a z-board?
Whaaaaat? Man... those must have been so intense batteries!

for the lcd readings of bps... mine showed 27bps with a egg y-board... so its far from accurate!
only thing i know is that i outshoot my egg y-board.. but it seems incredible slow compared to other egg y-boards... right under 12bps is my true rof... that is with sensi that keeps pausing because i shoot faster than my egg y-board feeds.. sometimes the lcd readings seems accurate. 12 with sensi on and 15 with sensi off. with sensi off i chop because i shoot faster than my egg y-board feeds that seems to be 12bps...

on my egg/z-board I got 19 bps but thats as fast as an egg can go ( I wonder what would happen it they put a spring in an egg, like the halo it windes a spring which is why the halo loads so fast ). :drink:

There are a few steps you can take to modify a standard EvoII to feed a bit faster, including a switch to 9.6v rechargable batteries. But the fact of the matter is, you're not going to get a a sustained feed rate of much above 18-19bps w/the loader's design.
