looking at the back it just looks like a typical Automag valve...as stated it's probably just a different body. I don't think it was meant to mean "new gun" as in new gun to the market, perhaps just "new gun" as in he just bought it.

It does look slightly like a shocker, but the exposed valve and hose is a dead give away that it is indeed a mag.

I've actually dry fired that gun. It's pretty tiite actually, it's a mix of an Automag, shocker, and an Angel. He is supposedly beta testing the gun for some dude that made the body. As you guys can see it uses the Xvalve that came with the x mags, it has dual ball detents just like the newer Angels. It is supposed to shoot almost just as fast as most electronic guns out today. It shoots pretty fast for a non electro gun i must say. it's a little bit heavier than a shocker which is nice i think but lighter than the old mags. He said when it comes out it going to be on around $800. the built of the gun seems to be sturdy and solid.

yeah man it's mechanical as it can be. any post smartparts lawsuit gun that's manufactured here in the US have to be mechanical i believe...unless you're planning to pay SP loads of money fo sho.

there's a video of a "mag" trigger frame going around that is purely mechanical and it's not R/T valve technology that will blow you away...I'll see if I can dig it up.

actually though air guns is doing some impressive things on the mechanical aspect of the sport, they are inventing a trigger, mechanical, that is fairly easy to walk lol

(I think im right dont flame me because i could be wrong ) Nah that gun has been out way before the shocker has, its an X Valved, Dallara Body, Deadly Wind mag i believe...or at least that trigger looks like the deadly wind, but it isnt supposed to come out for sale until october...
For actual information on this - www.automags.org
Edited:
The trigger frame is similar to an eblade for a cocker which will be sold by itself
