how often do u clean ur eyes?

pretty much exactly what the title says. In the manual i could not find how often it they should be cleaned. would it just be whenever the eye test option doenst read a ball?

you only need to clean them if you start having a problem with them.

as long as they're working you don't need to worry about them.

A good rule of thumb though is to clean out the eye channel if you've broken paint in there. Yes, you shouldn't chop with the eyes but the fact of the matter is you'll still break paint once in a while if you're shooting poor quality.

As Jason stated, using bad/old paint can spur on breaks. I had a barrel break and just to make sure all was kosher I cleaned the eyes, they had some paint on them...
