Not it will not work as the IR3 has a Nimh battery and this is for a Nicad battery only.

No its not for the wall, its the actual LCD charger for the older nicad battery packs and plugs into a cigarette socket and/or wall adaptor. I can ship same day as long as payment is received before 3:00 pm

Well I just got my 2k dark lcd, but I don't have a charger and I just opened up the grip and cannot find any indication of whether or not its Nicad or Nimh. Where would I find which it is. I am very interested if this is the right charger.
